Lau Wikun, the director of Phantom and the subject of such humiliating rumors, draws a clear line with Yihyun, who is little more than an outsider. Yihyun finds himself unusually bothered by that boundary—one he normally would not have cared about—and feels an unfamiliar sense of disappointment at Lau Wikkun’s attitude.

Yet just when he seems thoroughly indifferent, Lau Wikun somehow ends up circling nearby, scanning his surroundings whenever Yihyun comes to his senses.
